Sales Account Executive BILINGUAL (Spanish/English)
Job Summary:
The Marlins Sales Account Executive actively sources and builds relationships with our current and prospective fans. You will be trained to identify the needs of our customers and provide recommendations for the ideal game and event experience. In this fast-paced sales environment, expert sales leaders will be coaching you allowing you to become the expert in our customizable package offerings including season ticket memberships, premium seating, and group outings. Essential Functions:
- Sell new full season ticket memberships, partial season ticket memberships, group outings and luxury suites
- Meet or exceed annual sales goals
- Prospect & source potential diverse clients in the South Florida Business Community
- Make a minimum of 75 outbound contacts per day
- Set a minimum of 10 face to face or virtual appointments per week
- Proactively identify new leads through referrals, networking and prospecting businesses
- Invite and host qualified prospects to prescheduled sales events
- Generate new leads at sales tables during select Marlins home games and other community events
- Attend networking events in the community to generate new business prospects
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all current clients and prospects within our CRM system
- Provide excellent customer service to prospects and current clients at all times
- Active involvement in the community to continually build your sales funnel
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Strong organizational, time-management, excellent oral and written communication and problem solving skills
- Must be highly self-motivated and have a desire to excel in sales
- Individuals must be comfortable making face to face sales presentations
- Strong interpersonal skills required
- Ability to multi-task
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office, experience with Tickets.com ProVenue a plus
- Must be comfortable making cold calls on the phone
- Ability to maintain a flexible work schedule (holidays, evenings)
- Individuals must be coachable and possess a positive attitude
- Deliver exemplary customer service
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
Suggested Education & Experience Guidelines:
- A minimum of two years of successful sales experience regardless of industry (sports preferred)
- College Degree – Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
