La divisi\u00f3n de movilidad de Siemens inform\u00f3 este lunes (16.01.2023) de que el contratante es la empresa ferroviaria estatal Indian Railways.<\/p>\n<p>Las locomotoras, que tienen una potencia de 9.000 caballos, se utilizar\u00e1n para el transporte de mercanc\u00edas. Pueden remolcar hasta 4.500 toneladas y viajar a 120 kil\u00f3metros por hora. Las unidades se fabricar\u00e1n en una planta de Siemens Mobility en India. El montaje se llevar\u00e1 a cabo conjuntamente con los empleados de Indian Railways en el estado de Gujarat, en la costa occidental.<\/p>\n<p>Se trata del mayor pedido de locomotoras en la historia de la divisi\u00f3n de movilidad de Siemens. Para la India, que dispone de una de las redes ferroviarias m\u00e1s grandes del mundo, supondr\u00e1 un impulso log\u00edstico. &#8220;El pa\u00eds quiere casi duplicar la capacidad de carga ferroviaria&#8221;, resumi\u00f3 el presidente ejecutivo de Siemens, Roland Busch. Este predijo que el nuevo pedido &#8220;ayudar\u00e1 a lograr los ambiciosos objetivos del pa\u00eds de construir la red ferroviaria electrificada m\u00e1s grande del mundo&#8221;.
